| The Another World Gallery Images are part of a collection of more than 60 that I photographed 25 years ago while I was a scientist at the Polaroid Corporation. The images are of various film coating process defects that were photographed through a high powered microscope at magnifications up to 100X and imaged on Kodak slide film. Several of those images were awarded prizes in the Nikon Worldwide Small Wonders photography competition during the early 1980's.
